I’m so excited by the new coffee that we have at work. I’m not going to divulge all the info.. that’s for another day. But this is the best #latteart I’ve done ever. Ironically it’s the oat latte I was making for Nick.
This is a classic Victoria Sponge that I made last week for Ojoy wellness. I used a vanilla “buttercream” in the middle instead of the usual whipped cream, along side some home made mixed berry jam.
I woke up this morning feeling full of love and excitement after a beautiful cacao ceremony and sacred sound journey on Wednesday with @ceremonialgradecacao Followed by the opening night of a “transform your life” course last night that I have embarked upon with a small circle of sisters, hosted by the gorgeous @lifealchemyhealth.2016 was a very difficult year. It was super cleansing, I learned many lessons, cleared A LOT of stale energies and broke some unhealthy habits. 2017 is about growth and shedding those shadows. It is exciting and has started in the most phenomenal way. I faced my demons head on last year and now it is all about growing from those experiences. My spiritual journey and self love is now a huge priority in my life, my time is being invested in the right places and leading me on a beautiful path. Here’s my breakfast anyway – inspired by Steph at @lifealchemyhealth it is a blended chia pudding, sweetened with Maple and topped with activated cashews and Goji berries.
Sam spoiled me to this absolutely stunning & some what confusing spinach, mushroom & “ricotta” lasagne with some basil pesto made entirely from scratch. It is also gluten free!! This tofu malarky is the greatest form of deception. It is SO versatile and you can create some protein strong, super tasty dishes from it. In this case it was the “ricotta” Thug Kitchen – you’ve done it again with a FAB recipe.
The awkward moment when you’re in your absolute element surrounded by beautiful beings coming together to raise money, do yoga, glitter up, drink and eat AND someone takes ya photo.. Then and only THEN do you realise you look like a 1990’s dinner lady 🤓 *quick exit for the loo & a new hair do*
Huge thanks to that yoga mum for hosting an incredible night so full of love.
Happy birthday to you I wish. A day of fun you shall have! All my love, Toyoda
Any forager friends out there know what this is – I found it when exploring with Mike yesterday.
I am on a role! This is day number 4 of juicing, gluten free, cooking all meals from scratch & trying to get fresh air each day. Oh and I’ve been to the gym 3 times in the last 5 days too! Ok, so I’ve been off work the whole time and have been out of sync with “normal” day to day life. But I do actually have time to do all these things every day – I just don’t make time & boy did I feel it. I had zero energy & went back into a bad head space. So after quickly remedying it with a little time off – thanks to a boss who totally understands the importance of looking after yourself & to a team of friends who covered my shifts at last minute. I have been able to take a step back and remind myself what is important. Do you make time for things that are important to you & your health?
